I am an amateur economist in the same way that some people are amateur astronomers or meteorologists. Will I discover something new or accurately predict tomorrow? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have fun observing the foibles of human behavior with my friends. Think of it as a comedy blog that isn’t funny and requires math.
